Note from the Artist: Fireweed is a common late summer flower here in Montana and it's showy pink blooms are some of my favorites of the season. This painting is also densely packed with trees which made for lots of detail work. Naming paintings is not always an easy thing and the title for this piece simply occurred to me. When this happens I am always grateful! I looked up the word "Restless" and one of the definitions was "ceaselessly moving" which I found quite perfect.
