Note from the Artist: This was the first painting I completed in 2026. It was meant to be an experimental sort of loosen up kind of thing, but just before I initiated the first color washes, I got a very specific idea for the look I created here. It was inspired by a remarkable and indescribable sunset, which mother nature was kind enough to share before I began this. Super happy with this small but powerful image, so much so that you will also see it in the newly released note cards (read on below). I plan to use this technique again for a much larger version of a future sunset painting...
