Caring for encaustic jewelry simply requires treating it as fine art, with the primary goal of preventing exposure to extreme heat to preserve the underlying mixed media.
Temperature control: Keep your pieces out of hot cars and surfaces (such as heating vents). Encaustic wax will soften or begin to melt at temperatures over 150°F.
