Note from the Artist: The farm fields have wonderful story to tell in the spring. It's a story that changes rapidly with color, pattern, texture. I see endless varieties of birds that participate in the story in all manner of configurations. I chose a lively group of crows for their strong form to balance off the powerful repeated patterns of the fields.
