Inspired by the small, radiant flowers of the flax plant, these earrings are made entirely by hand from recycled sterling silver. Each flower is sawn out by hand before being textured and formed to make them three-dimensional. The small anthers, made from tiny silver balls, are then soldered on along with the hand-formed ear wires. The earrings are finished with a patina to add depth.
Each earring measures approximately 1 1/8 inch long by 9/16 inch wide. They are lightweight and well-balanced.
Made from 100% reclaimed materials. Each piece is unique, so the item you receive will vary slightly from the photograph. A percentage of every sale is donated to a non-profit environmental, humanitarian, or arts organization. Thank you for supporting sustainable craft!Read April Hale’s bio here
