Artist Bio

Jill Henrietta Davis earned a BFA from the Parsons School of Design in 1991 with a double major of glass and furniture, and an MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in glass in 1999.

From 1991 to 2005 Jill pursued a career in the fine arts, exhibiting unique functional sculptural furniture in glass in galleries throughout the United States.

In 2004, spurred on by the fact that there seemed to be very few American glass artists interested in making high-quality, low-priced items for the wholesale market, Jill began designing the production pieces that would eventually grow into "Henrietta Glass".
