Note from the Artist: Emigrant Peak stands just before the Gardiner entrance to Yellowstone National Park, at the southern end of the Paradise Valley. Arrowleaf balsamroot blooms vibrantly in front of this gorgeous mountain. The last snow of late spring catches the waning light of day, and a brilliant pink and blue sunset bathes the valley in glowing twilight.
