Note from the Artist: I see this scene so often it's amazing it took me this long to paint it. There is a certain point as winter evening nears when the sky turns a fantastic teal color contrasting against the dark bare trees. This was a surprisingly tricky color to capture! A little bird enjoys the moment solo and in perfect solitude. There is something quite satisfying and in fact necessary to have quiet moments to myself... this painting says exactly that.
