A note from the artist about this serigraph:
I had an interesting realization over the winter months while I was missing the sunshine. I have actually never in my entire artistic career dedicated an image solely to the sun. The source of life, our reason for existing. It's a pretty daunting subject to take on and I thought a screen print would be a fun approach. This print has a deceptively simple look that actually required 26 separate color screens. The image ended up being fairly symbolic, capturing what I hope is the happiness of standing in the warmth of the gift that is sunshine.
