Nautilus Earrings
Artist: April Hale Jewelry
Note from the Artist: I was introduced to the work of the mathematician Fibonacci at a young age. He discovered a numbering sequence that creates many forms found in nature, from spiral galaxies and the reproductive cycles of bees to the way sunflowers grow seeds. I’ve always been fascinated by this idea of finding order in what we think of as the chaos or disorder of nature. These earrings, inspired by the beautiful logarithmic spiral of a chambered nautilus shell, represent that fascination.
All jewelry is handmade from a minimum of 50% reclaimed materials.
The earrings are 1 1/4" wide by 1 1/2" long, lightweight, and entirely handmade from 100% recycled sterling silver.
Due to the nature of handmade objects, the item you receive will vary slightly from the photograph.
